Engine: O.S. 70FS (4 stroke)

Span: 80.5 in.

Length: 64 in.

The Frontier Senior is the best BIG trainer type plane I have ever flown. With a 80 in span and a 15 in. chord, it has more lift than any plane of its kind. The instructions say not to use any engine larger than a .46 2 stroke, but I have found that it flies perfectly with the .70 4 stroke (it was underpowered with the .46). I have modified mine with wing struts to increase load carrying capacity. It is set up with an X-10 camera in the right wing tip and has a home built bay that can be attached to the bottom allowing me to attach a still camera that is triggered by the gear switch/ servo. This plane is perfect for shooting video and pics for several reasons: It can take off and land in a matter of a few feet and very gently; it can fly extremely slowly and even hover in a slight headwind; it can carry up to a 14lb. payload.
